miles will have a 11-1 season and then head for michigan.its something that will have him laughing at all the ranters who or begging him to stay. get ready it will happen.next thing is we get a new coach and he sinks lsu to the lows that yall havent seen.i remember when todd kinchen was the only reason people attended football games.bad days

Leslie didn't make LSU.

If we suck this season, he gets fired. LSU can recover.

Its not make or break for LSU, but it is for Crowton. 2010

If LSU loses 5 or more games and does NOT fire Miles and Crowton then 2011 will be a make or break for LSU football.

For now, I see our talent level as a team, particularly with incoming class, remaining among the elite.

Yeah, will have to see if the talent produces or disappoints again. I think its Miles season to shine or not. LSU can recover and endure a bad year or two. But if the next two are medoicre, LSU will be forced to do something. Crowton has to be on a short leash, Miles considerably longer.

i dont freak out over firings, departures. there is always another quality coach out there. programs get thier asses in a bind by hitting the buyout panick button after a coach has one stellar year. they lock them up with a long term deal and then cant afford the buyout if they decide to cut ties or underwhelm. (charlie weis, miles?, etc.) give coaches the raise they deserve and some job security, but if a guy wants to leverage himself every yr. or wants to flirt with other offers every post season (im looking at you saban), then f them. no coach is bigger than any program.

I would never beg Miles to stay. I believe most feel the same way.

Great topic. I don't think it has been discussed yet.

the guy is not going anywhere...he has two years...unless michigan wants him....and he would have to have a great year this year for them to want him....otherwise they'll get Harbaugh...

Your emoticons didn't get included in the quote, but they conveyed your apparent hope for this to happen. This is the real hypocrisy of the Miles apologists. They accuse critics of hoping he fails and thus hoping for bad things for LSU, but posts like this show who the real traitors are. You are actually HOPING that, after proving he can do well, Miles leaves and LSU sinks into the abyss. You actually want LSU to suffer just to vindicate Miles.

You're the worst fan possible.

Its more of a make or break year for Crowton than Miles. Miles can survive a four loss season but the Wiz is history if the offense is sluggish and the reason for the losses.

Crowton yes -- Miles (unless we lose 6 games) has one more year, but then that's it.

You know I've heard a lot of people say that and it really pisses me off. I get in their shite when they say they wish LSU would lose so we could get rid of Miles.............what losers......
