We conveniently excuse it on poor DL play. But if our DL was air-dropped into TCU or Tuscaloosa (I respect Saban's approach to D but there's no love loss for him), we would all be amazed at how much better they were playing. Again - ain't so much talent as it is approach.

I couldn't care less how much UGA offered him. I would be surprised if those playing the best D in CFB would even consider him for DC.

Les is ok with either Bo or Chief (even though their styles are so different) because IMO Les has no vision of what kind of team he wants to field.

less possessions means less points for your offense.

Points - but if you're suggesting they're unrelated I would disagree.

We could pick a data set and I'm sure there would be an exception now-n-then but teams with large differences in more yards and ToP usually have more points.

TOP is important too. The D restricts in points but stays on the field way too long taking away from the offense's time on the field. It matters.
