Was at the game....LSU cant hit at all especially rise balls. There in lies your problem in playing alabama and florida (rise ball pitchers). The ump F'd us as Cody threw a couple of strikes that werent called but were strikes. That doesnt help on the offensive side but she did ok.

I dont get to see LSU softball in person living in Birmingham but I see mostly unathletic players (not like what alabama and florida have). Our girls are short and slow for the most part. The more elite teams in the SEC have taller faster players. I also see poor softball hitting fundamentals (these girls swing like baseball players) and have no eye for the ball. I also saw very poor positioning of the outfielders based on how Alabama hits. Maybe they dont have good scouting reports but I go to alot of Alabama softball games and knew we would get outhit.

Finally, that dude in left field was totally asleep on a liner to left. He/she had no jump on the ball and the way "she" reacted it was clear she was day dreaming. Should have been replaced as she offers nothing at the plate.

I was a supporter of the coaching staff but they are not good. Time for a change....who you go get I dont know.
