...if UConn shoots more than 30% from free throw line down the stretch, which included several 0-2s , and Stanford doesn't luck out on some 35 ft 3pt "shot clock heaves" in final 2 minutes, UConn wins by 15, easy, instead of 6.... not to mention Huskies put up 41 points in 2nd half..... Stanford was simply beneficiary of "worst 1st half ever - lowest point total ever" from sleep-walking UConn in first half......and, as we saw - it didn't last. You're right. They had every chance in the first half to put the game away. They could have easily been up by 26 at half and sealed the game before UConn ever woke up. BUT... they didn't, and wasted the best chance anyone has had at beating Uconn in over two years.
