We should go hire JT Curtis to set

A few years ago, after John Curtis won one of their State Championships, I ran into JT Curtis in the suites at the Superdome. A couple of us jokingly asked him about coming to LSU. He made it very clear he isn't a LSU fan. Pretty much made me John Curtis hater that day too.

Eligibility rules in the NCAA are apparently tougher than in the LSHAA. There is no 7 1/2 grade in college.

I'm not sure what he said, but the big misconception is that we don't get talent coming out of Curtis when that can't be farther from the truth. McKnight was the only kid we offered a schollarship to that didn't come to LSU in the last ten years.

Yeh he woulda been perfect 40 years ago, but from what I'm told teams throw the ball a little more these days. Ohh and just for the record, we lost to Curtis in the dome in 97, 98, but of course I don't hate the guy

Beat me to it! They will put you to sleep and wait for the other team to make a mistake. That offense would be beaten soundly in the SEC by ANY team.

I called a game in the 'Dome one year. J.T. senior was alive and well and JT3 blocked a punt to win the game over Washington Marion 14 -7 for the AAA crown in '88.
