At one time, all three of these dudes were coaching at LSU. Hard to believe that this was only a few years back.

Football-Miles
Baseball-Laval
Basketball-Brady

A whole lot of fail if you ask me. We now have THE best coach in college baseball. Trent is one of the top 20 coaches in college basketball and I will take that as our basketball program is historically not at that level. Football-I can only wish.

Jesus rose from the dead, but he couldn't have done anything with that shitty talent if he we coach.

and at the time, Miles had a coaching record at LSU of 32-6

if you were truly estatic, then you'll never be truly happy with a coach.....ever

the numbers don't always tell the whole story. i honestly think you could have put up the same record or better than he did.

That has to be your most recent picture in your avatar.

How fricking stupid is this thread.

I was truly ecstatic at the last admin retreat when we voted to ban Springlake Tiger, but a procedural technicality kept him on the Rant. I truly hope he has a better year posting this year, but I don't think it will happen.

Are you fricking kidding me? PM turned a program that Smoke ruined and won a NC in three years! He built that team. If you can't see this, then I question if any of your posts are valid.

Sorry your "glittering generalization" has a few problems.

1.) Top 20 coaches do not go 2-14 in conference play.

2.) Our basketball program has historically been the third or fourth best program in the SEC. Just check the record: 10 SEC championships, 4 final fours, and 1 National Championship. Not to mention the best NCAA basketball player ever (Pete Maravich), and 3 NBA all century players.

Tom Izzo maybe would've led the basketball team to 5 wins in the SEC. No coach would've had a winning record with this group.
