lsu wasn't nationally recognized as an elite football program durring the curley era neither.... Not taking away from miles recruiting abilities. just saying even after mile is gone, lsu will still Louisiana and southeast Texas on lock...


Miles does recruit well wherever he goes fwiw

For all his faults, Hallman could recruit. He signed the Top 4 running backs in the south in one year. He was just like Orgeron. Too stupid to do anything with him when he got them.

After Mac, LSU sort of lost it's way in LA until Dinardo signed Faulk and then Saban got back in to New Orleans.
