Clive Swift, whom I always loved in “Keeping Up Appearances” was also Arthur’s dad in Excalibur. I noticed this about six months ago. Just now getting around to positing it

He would be unknown to American audiences other than Excalibur, A Midsummer Night's Dream (1968) and a couple of notable appearances in Dr. Who, but he did a shite ton of British television. He just passed a couple of years ago (just shy of 83) and was apparently in good enough health to work until a couple of years before that.
