Let's not act like DiNardo was awful. He went 10-2 and 9-3 in his 2nd and 3rd seasons. He recruited well. Ask Saban the kind of talent he inherited.

He didn't at first, but when personality clashes occurred with the good ones he started with, he started getting paranoid and hiring based on relationships rather than on competence. That got him in big trouble.
