Nothing about their season proves they will go deep IMO.

What about Villanova's season says they'll make a deep run? What about Duke's? What about A&M's? What about Notre Dame? No team in this bracket looks that great on paper, even Duke.

They might not have to beat many "great" teams to reach the Final Four. Maybe just one that had a better regular season. And it's possible they get their best win during the tournament.

I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about Baylor.

But... ND beat WVU, a 2 Seed.

And took them to the max in the championship game.

Baylor lost to Kansas/K-State, who are similarly seeded teams.

Duke looks the best on paper, then Baylor.

Gerry Dinardo, the referee gripe is the most played out and inaccurate thing I can think of.

Kansas is the #1 team in the country, and Baylor took them to the edge on the road. And then they played two close games with K-State.

And they get to play in New Orleans, then Houston. Not much travel.

Yeah... but they lost. They didn't win a good road game. Lost to Colorado on the road. Lost to a lackluster Bama at home.

Color me unimpressed.

Ok cool. Notre Dame wasn't in the tournament until the last day of the regular season. Impressive. And they were winning their games without Harangody at the end of the year, so they didn't hurt them that much. Not impressed.

Yeah, we'll see. I know it's not a popular pick. Everybody loves Baylor. I just don't see them going deep.
