Rankings this early mean little..and throwing the rankings out there in middle of HS playoffs can be confusing.

but Parkview is a machine. no one will touch them.....I forgot what coach it was..was college bball but few years ago said
there are 2 types of coaches.those with talent that win and ex coaches.....unless you coach at a catholic school where you recruit. (or baptist...u get the point)

Parkview, this early, has beat 3 teams in top 10 of 5A. and are currently undefeated.

not to knock down parkview, but it is early because those top 10 teams may not be all they are cracked up to be....

either way i am sure they make it far in the playoffs

how many players are D-1 material?

It's not even early, it's PRESEASON polls. They looked pretty much like a regurgitation of the final polls from last year atleast in 5A. Dutchtown was #3 btw, not 2. West Monroe had a good weekend down in Baton Rouge. They went 3-0 beating Shaw 10 - 0, Rummel 4 - 3, Central B.R. 8 - 4.

Not even close, PB ten run rules them this year.

My name is on one of those state championship lists. Old school LISA league days, when PBS played in the all white school district.

So clearly you've played for Woodruff, correct?? Because you'd realize that Woodruff is a ridiculous coach. The recruit thing is so annoying, Parkview doesn't have to recruit. People don't get this, they've laid the groundwork as the best baseball program around so parents will send their kids there. How is that recruiting? PBS does not go find kids and beg them to come there.

No I haven't. Should have seen PB last weekend, but the rain screwed up the tournament. I have seen Holy Cross and Dutchtown (PB opp.s) . I'm very familiar with Vandebilt's (EDW's lone loss) team and have some knowledge of EDW's team. Not knocking EDW they are a strong program, but from what i'm told they are young. And EDW's win v.s HLB is not that impressive. We may not know til the playoffs.

EDW's starting SS and one of their best hitters is still playing Basketball.

Not sure. Is PBS in Barbe's tournament? WM always comes down for that one and has a big tourney at WM every year as well. The WM tourney is this week.
