Burn Notice - Jumped the shark fo sho

Every episode, same shite.
-Michael has to do some work for the bad guys to figure out about bigger bad guys
-Sam does a zany character of Finley who is a small time government official of some sort
-Fee is tough and orange
-The mom smokes
-Michael teaches you how to make a grenade launcher out of a Nokia cell phone
-And either a bad old friend of Mikey's blows into town to spoil everything or a mid level actor from a Prison Break, 24, The Unit type show comes on with a shitty fake accent to cause trouble
-Lesson learned, back to mom's house for some pie after Michael tells the client to keep his nose clean

It is getting redundant. They should have given him a job doing illegal/messy jobs for the cops or the feds but if he gets caught he's on his own. It's too obvious that he'll never be a spook again (there would be no show)

Isn't this the plot to 90% of detective, crime fighter, etc type shows?

I don't watch it religiously or anything, but every time I catch an episode, it always entertains me.

I still like the show, but this is the worry I had the moment he found out who burned him and the season finale was basically "Yeah well we're not protecting you anymore"
It took away the purpose Weston had. Now he's just "surviving" and still being everyone's bitch since he can't refuse any jobs apparently.
That guy at the end of this last episode better die. I don't think I could take a full season of some guy that walks like robocop and has a shitty name as the main villain. (trying not to spoil too much)
