shep will make his mark at LSU if the coaches give him the oppurtunity (which we still do not know will even happen), i just think harvin was a unique athlete in the perfect situation for him.

First, excellent thread. Kudos.
I know, I know, we can't trust Miles (or Crowton, esp. when it involves Shepard, but yesterday Miles went to great lengths to announce RS will "officially" be a WR and, sometimes, at RB. Miles, as far as he wants, added that Shep's no longer a QB (though he kinda left the door open for him to take direct-snaps on ocasion).

Miles also said the goal is to have RS on the field on every down, regardless of the situaion. That leaves him w/very little wiggle-room if this doesn't happen (unless RS has a real injury and not the ones Miles invents). Also, having him return kicks will be great, IMHO.

This is why, despite those folks here who are convinced the Spring Game is meaningless, I want to see Shep at WR/RB/KR (even if it is a glorified and more organized practice).
