1. O' Brother Where Art Thou
2. Goodfellas
3. Gangs of New York
4. No Country For Old Men
5. Last of the Mohicans
6. Saving Private Ryan
7. American Psycho
8. The Royal Tenenbaums
9. The Squid and the Whale
10. The Departed

Honorable Mention: Fargo, Night of the Living Dead, Braveheart, Snatch, Forrest Gump, Seven, A History of Violence, Unforgiven

I think "The Patriot" could be in my top 5... I can't make a list though... it would take me days. Not a bad one, though

this should be an interesting thread.

on O'Brother: I just think it appeals to me because I think it is close to, if not perfect for my liking....

Great acting, about Mississippi (where my family is from), GREAT MUSIC, and its very witty and a great story (The Odyssey). I just enjoy the Hell out of it every time I see it.

why are Forest Gump and The Shawshank Redemption not in this list. these are in everyone's lists

to be honest, I liked Shawshank, but it didnt make my top ten or honorable mention. Kind of boring to me.

Forrest made my honorable mention.

Pretty hard to do, and honestly, I could probably plug a lot of movies in there if I thought about it for a while. Fight Club and Office Space are my two favorite movies ever.
