Just a note: This is how most Ole Miss fans feel. LSU is THE game of the year for them and they want to beat us more than any other school they play. We are their biggest rival.

When you can't win hardware nearly as much as your all-time rival(nor at all in some schools modern-era cases), you live to beat rivals, which is why beating LSU means more to Old Myth than vice-versa, same for Aub/Tenn vs Bama, same for UGA/Tenn vs Fla, etc..
Some schools live to "hardware"..others just live to "hate".
