the same thing as me when the Saints blitzed on the Tracey Porter interception play...LSU would have never done that!

no, LSU didn't even enter my head, I thought damn, we are blitzing and not getting close to him

not really, i thought the Saints gameplan was very similair to what LSU ran all last year. Bend and don't break, you may lose all the stats, i.e yards, time of pos, rushing yards, but if you win 1 key stat..turnovers, you can still win the important one, the game.
I do think it is odd, than when LM did this all year, won the game but lost the stats, he needed to be fired, but when Sean Payton did it the past 2 consecutive games, he walks on water.
talk about a double standard......

it helps to have a great offense when you play a bend, but don't break defense. LSU obviously had a subpar offense this past season.

Good point. I just think that the blitz caused the interception and the quick throw and I dont think that LSU would have done the same thing in the same situation. Which is what I think needs to be dont.

It probably has something to do with the fact that les miles went 9-4 with a very talented team while payton went 16-3 on his way to winning the superbowl.
