To each his own. In life you are sometimes faced with tough decisions. Deciding what college to attend as an elite athlete is as tough as any. After what happened last night with the Saints every local kid had to feel it. Something special happens here. No place in the world has the energy, optimism, support and love for there hometown as Louisianians. You had to feel it. To chose to not be a part of that to seek something better is just not a realistic outlook. We are New Orleans, We are LOUISIANA!

Exactly what I felt when I accepted an awesome offer this weekend to go to LSU. Florida feels like the ultimate school, but LSU and Louisiana feels like a home. There's something magic about the area, about the culture in Louisiana and I really want to be a part of it.

Oh no no not like I'm a recruit or anything sorry if it came across that way I'm just a student. I wish I had a sweet story to tell like I'm a sweet athlete like my friend Justin Coleman but I'm just excited to get down there and be a part of something special.

May this be the last thing you read before you go, Trovon.

First of all, congrats. You'll be here to enjoy the remodeled union (That has been under construction my entire undergrad and grad school careers) and the new business complex (if you end up majoring in business). Both should be top notch.

No connections needed for LSU tailgating. Any and everyone is happy to strike up a conversation with you and feed/booze you up.
