Keith Poole getting killed on a long reception and popping right back up like it was no big deal.

Getting back home from our little league football games on Sunday afternoons and listening to the saints games on the radio because more times than not they were blacked out on TV

I can point to one game that turned around the franchise. In 1987 we beat the the 49ers at San Fran 26-24 and went on a tear never losing again until the wild card game. That game changed the Aints to the Saints and that season changed the expectations of the fan base permanently.

I can remember when we broke the streak of MNF losses in 84 against the Steelers. Bought tickets 10 rows up on the 45 yard line. Had a blast and we were finally able to beat the streak. We had endured so many MNF debacles highlighted by the Raiders comeback that kept their MNF winning streak alive.

Even though it was a loss, watching the Saints win 3-1/2 quarters of the Monday nite game against the Raiders back in (I think) 79. That was fun, just not the end of the game part.

Staying in the stadiums (Tulane and Superdome)until the seats were empty dreaming of what is going to happen on Sunday.
