ESPNU guy that was slaming LSU at the start of the signing day special. Did he change his tone after the pick ups we got? What a tool.

He had a narrative already prepared, but when LSU started landing their target recruits, it was too late to adjust on the fly, so he just went with it. I suggest he gets some tutoring, as he needs to be "coached up" to a more professional level that will allow him to report the germane facts of a story as it develops; as opposed to sticking with a sensationalized narrative that does not apply.

He purposely went off on a 1 minute tangent of basically slamming the current coach for recruiting less and less talent over the last 3-4 years than what we had back then.

I guess he should of slammed his own company's ratings for continuing to give us the same type of recruiting classes we had 3, 4...6 years back. Good job McStupid.

According to Wikipedia:

Before becoming one of the nation’s top NFL Draft analysts, McShay was the quarterback for the Swampscott (Mass.) High School football team (1991-94), and he was a backup quarterback for the University of Richmond (1995-97) before sustaining a back injury that ended his college career.

Some people just like to downgrade other people and other programs he wishes he was a part of.

I got no problem with the national media criticizing LSU or Les Miles, but his reasoning was poor and neither him nor Robert Smith made any good, objective points.

I watched ESPNU all day long. The entire broadcast team was expecting LSU to have a shitty day, so they prepared the doomsday BS material. What they should have said was that we lost too many kids from 2005-2007, which caused a temporary depth/talent void. I think they were right about the drop off in talent that resulted in our last two seasons. They were dead arse wrong about the reasons for it. Check the facts before running your mouth Todd. Go back to trying to get some of Mel Kiper's scrappy arse seconds!
