I think it speaks volumes about the state of the program when we can consider a top 10 class disappointing. This is a better than OK class. (OK would be somewhere between 15-25.) It's a reasonably good class with, perhaps, a couple of holes that we would have liked to fill. If this class ends up sandwiched in between a VERY good class (last year) and potentially an outstanding class next year, we'll be fine.

What I consider disappointing is the way LSU played for the last two years in a row. Recruiting rankings are just dreams. What counts is what happens on the field. LSU has looked increasingly lost, like the whole team fabric is unraveling, right before our very eyes. The Tigers looked like their old dominant selves a total of one whole game last season, versus Auburn. Otherwise, it just came and went in flashes.
