That was a great job by Irvin saying that the media hadn't been talking about the Saints and NOLA enough! Way to go Michael.

He kind of touched on it during the Vilma interview but then he just spent about 5 minutes repeatedly saying how the media was doing the Saints a disservice by constantly talking about Favre, Manning etc. Really seemed passionate about it.

It was very well said...I never thought I'd say that about Irvin. But well done.

In general this has been the first non negative Saints coverage I have seen all week. Interviews with Vilma, Sharper, Goodwin, Stinchcomb and Evans together, a couple of statements from Marshal Faulk about how big this is for NO and then the statement from Irvin. Kudos!

It shouldn't have lasted this long without something being said but gotta respect m. Irvin for stepping up and saying it

Marshall Faulk sounds like a lifelong Saints fan that wants NO to win.

He should be though, being from NO

I have always liked Michael Irvin! He may have some off the field issues but he was a warrior and always showed up on game day! Also, was never afraid to tell it like it is...hope he doesn't draw a fine from the NFL for speaking the truth!!!

Never liked him as a player, but really like him as an analyst. I think he does a good job.
