I still hold a grudge against Bobby for going to the Falcons and Archie ended his career as a Viking after one season with the hated Oilers.

I blame Archie for a lot of the mediocrity in the Saints' history. He was a likeable guy and most people didn't get too mad when the team lost because they could see that Archie was out there trying his darndest and, well, sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way. Losing became acceptable as long as Archie was out there and then it became an expectation. Then, after a few years of a lucrative broadcasting career covering the Saints, Archie steered Peyton away from the Saints.

In the pregame show, Terry Bradshaw talked about what a big Saints fan he was and how he wished he was drafted by the Saints. He was clearly moved and sincere.

F Bobby, F Archie; Crown Terry, a guy who never played a down for the Saints but always uses a national platform to talk up the team.

True. At one time he wanted to own part of the SAINTS to help keep them in Louisiana.
