THIS IS NOT A FLAME.
Please rank the 4 remaining teams based on how they are currently playing. Currently equals their last 4 remaining meaningful games:
1. Saints
2. Colts
3. Jets
4. Vikings

1. Saints, Vikings, Colts
2. Jets
I really think all three of those teams are pretty much on par with each other.
There's only so far that offensive line will carry the Jets....Peyton is just a little too good for Rex, and I think he knows it. Unlike the Chargers, the Colts will be slinging that ball around like crazy.

agree with the assessment. I think the difference this year with the colts is their defense is outstanding. So who knows. I look for a low scoring AFC game.
On the Saints game, the two things that concern me most are the Vikings D-line and their running game. If we stack the box, it will be difficult to stop Farve from slinging it.

You cannot be serious.
I don't care how you define the parameters, but Saints aren't 1st.

I didn't rank them in any order. its just a list. vote how you want. I didn't list them on what I think.
Mine would be as follows:
1. Colts
2. Saints Vikings
4. Jets

What about the others really make them better than the Saints?

You can't be serious that definitively think another team is better than the Saints. And way to back up your comment with facts.

Agreed. Jets shouldn't even be in the mix for the greatest team, they almost didn't make the playoffs the and the Saints beat them. Vikings have dropped games they had no business dropping and they lost 4 games they all tried in. Colts almost lost several games if it weren't for last second comebacks, and even though they keep managing to win, they don't really seem that impressive.
The Saints shouldn't have lost against Tampa and had lots of injuries but they're healthy not and should definitely be in the mix for #1.

I believe I acknowledged the Tampa loss in my post. I know you don't have the best comprehension skills, but the post was about why the Vikes, Jets, and Colts aren't better than the Saints, not why the Saints are better than they are.

Efrad and Black n Gold, I'm just playing by the rules the OP dictated.
That is, the term "'currently' equals their last 4 remaining meaningful games."
If I may preface my statements, I think the Saints are going to win the whole damned thing.
That said, given the confinements of the inquiry, Saints are surely not top of the list. Their 4 last "meaningful games" were AZ, Tampa, Cowgirls, and Atlanta. They lost two, they won two. Of the two they won, one was a gift (ATL). I get the injuries. I get resting Shockey, Sharper, Greer, and a handful of others who could've played in either of the two losses. But the OP asked how the teams are "currently" playing...and under his/her perverted definition of "currently," Saints ain't atop the list.
Hell, Colts are 4-0 in their last 4 "meaningful games." Ravens, Jags, Broncs, and Titans...each of which very much needed a win. That alone puts them ahead of the Saints.
How's that for factual backup? 4-0 vs. 2-2.
Seriously though. It's a meaningless exercise as phrased. The real question is, "who is healthy and has the best shot at making/winning the big game?" In my opinion, it's the Saints.
