As a Tiger fan from birth (and named after Mike III) I have to make a point here... All of you "Negatigers" that want to tear apart the coaching staff we need to realize a blaring fact. I was at LSU from '91 to '95. Yeah. 2-9 and 3-8 was common. That said - Miles has continued to recruit and has us in line for another run. Would you want to be TN or AUB for that matter? We all forget how it "could" be and demand undefeated seasons. Things WILL NOT BE PERFECT EVERY SEASON. Just ask USC. They are ecstatic about Kiffin. I can't wait to see the meltdown...

They won't listen because they think they are being "realistic" about the team. I don't ignore our teams problems, but I don't act like they are permanent either.

we're basically working on another to 5-10 recruiting class, while bama is working on its third top 2 class in 3 years.

If you're negative about recruiting instead of legitimate problems, you're a worse pussy than the rest of them. There are areas to criticize Miles about, but recruiting is obviously not one of them lady.

it's just that he's talking about taking down bama when they are clearly outclassing our program in every way possible.
how sickening is it to think that we might be in a situation with bama like we are in now with florida where we can only hope to beat them 1 in every 3 or 4 times that we play them. it fricking sucks.

Last year they outclassed us in overtime and this year they outclassed us by trailing into the fourth quarter and overtaking us when we lost our 1st string quarterback AND running back. Look at the facts, they will soothe your pussy. We are competing... not up to par, but we weren't blown out by any means. Give us a better O line and cohesive offense (which I expect by next year) and we win.

Many of us are "Tiger Fans from birth". The first thing I asked the doctor when I arrived from the womb was if he had a lortab on him and if Chollie Mac would ever beat Alabama again.
That said, we are allowed to voice our displeasure and yes, I often refer to the dark ages of '89-'94 as a means of getting people to stop being nitwits, but still, this season was UNSATISFACTORY. It wasn't enjoyable and I cannot sugar coat it or just be grateful that we weren't a Hallman-like team. Truth is, we were much closer to a Hallman/DiNardo team than we have ever been and that includes last season. This season was the least enjoyable for me since 2002.

As for BigApplTiger... I not bashing recruiting at all. That is the one strong point we have right now. You can always expand on a positive. We have a lot of young guys who I can't wait to see (ie. Barky Mingo!)
I live in TX and have to live around the burnt orange "we could have won with Colt" b-crap. That said - I want to haul in a better class than the T-sips.... yo.

We all see what's wrong with the program dudes. I'm a Miles supporter and obviously have not been happy with the last two years. BUT, Miles has earned our support and if things don't improve next year, I will be the first to say " love you coach, you're a great guy but it's time for a change."
