if it were to rain, there is a good chance they would have an actual attendance of 10

frick everyone laughing this is AWESOME for tulane football. I been waiting for this day

To all my greenies

ETA: 35K is the NCAA minimum. if you haven't been to the campus, its really small with little room anyway

Why does LSU fans feel they have to piss on everything that happens to other schools?

WTF? Would you be happier if they built a 50-75K stadium with unrealistic expectations?

1. They don't have the land space to make it any bigger. That stadium would look like two skyscrapers if it held any more people.
2. The administration is still not 'all in'...even if they decide to build this thing.
3. The student body attendance would increase at least double.
4. The stadium will look more packed.
5. They can always build additions if (big if) they start needing more room.

Good move for Tulane, it's horrible to see them play in a nearly empty Superdome.

An on campus stadium is something that definitely needed to happen. The problem is that they won't even be able to fill a 25,000 seat stadium.

But at least it's a step in the right direction

Now that it is on campus i'm sure their seat total will double though.

Agreed. I think people will be surprised by just how much this helps. The novelty alone will help to start out with, much less being on campus.

Not to mention, tailgating on-campus could turn into a very 'festive' time.

This thread pops up and in a matter of minutes, you guys come out of the wood works. There must be constant joxying of 'Tulane' and 'on campus stadium' on here...

I'm not going to lie, having an on campus stadium will make Tulane a much more attractive option to those around the South. And that is a VERY good thing for the university.

Klaus I completely agree, i think this will boost our program a lot. The fan base will expand, as well as more local high school recruits coming to games while in high school to see games and maybe influence where they want to go.
