no its not, u said that his problems are b/c of his age and experience
NO,I really didn't. I merely pointed out the significant difference between he and Flynn's age and experience in the program. That's it.

fact is Bradford was a RS 20 year old that lit up the QB position...
Yes, and he's a Heisman winning 1st round draft pick. And he has absolutely nothing to do with the comparison of Jordan Jefferson and Matt Flynn. Try to keep up here. I am ONLY talking about JJ and Flynn. That's it. No one else.

go ahead start making excuses
Jesus y'all are so fricking stupid.
I am not making excuses for JJ. He was not as good this year as he should have been and our offense suffered because of it. I'll try this again. I am ONLY pointing out that it's an advantage to be a 5th-year SR as opposed to a true SO. Also, barring injury just about every QB in the history of CFB was better as a SR than as a SO. People who think JJ can't progress in the next 2 years are fricking retarded. Because just about all the evidence of history points to the contrary.

quote:i agree with everything you say except the part of JJ being close to Flynn, I dont see any way shape or form except for statistics, and IMO JJ's stats lie about his performance. On paper JJ looked like he did really well. He seems efficient and doesnt turn the ball over, but the guy doesnt take shots, he doesnt throw the ball away, he takes sacks, he would rather run than step up and find a receiver. These problems can be fixed. The main thing I saw in Flynn that I dont in JJ and its a huge factor when I look at flynn, is his ability to be a leader, and yes he was a 5th year senior but in the peach bowl as a RS soph, you could still noticeably see this.

HotCarl,
yes to your convience...but you cant have a hypothesis with only two fricking varibles...As I figured...trying to have your cake and eat it too...
you cant say that JJ will progress b/c of others!!! and thats what your trying to imply with your "so-called" evidence (misleading numbers) They are two different people with two different mind sets....Flynn's is the type of mind set we need as a quarterback hence, field general, clutch, takes risk, isnt scared of failure, doesnt sit on the fricking ground when he gets hit hard, etc..etc...etc..
JJ is petrified to be on that field...Maybe a tiny bit of that will go away with age and he can show some signs of brilliance b/c of his athletic ability...but more often then not and when we really need him to make a play he is going to fold!!!
Pressure, some can handle it some cant...its the million dollar question... Thats why we have old sayings such as "if you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen...Ill take a QB that can handle pressure all day long with less athletic ability (hence Flynn over JJ) now can you process that information through that little head of yours?
