When the NCAA lays the wood to USC, it couldn't happen at a better time. Will consume several "quality" coaches with one event.......
The big rat jumped that sinking ship......the dumb rats just jumped on it.

Let's just see how much "wood" the NCAA is willing to lay on their golden child.

Carroll made a smart move jumping ship when he did, even if he fails in Seattle.

My question is did Kiffen et al get a heads up on what the NCAA has in store for the Trojan program. I can't imagine he'd leave UT only to board the Titannic. If a wrist slap is all that's coming, I can certainly see the attraction to taking his "dream job".
As for Carrol, his best scenario would have been to go elsewhere last year avoiding much if not most of the stench, but I'm not sure any NFL openings were appealing to him. If he's even marginally successful in Seattle, 8-8, 9-7 for a couple of years, the next big CFB program with an opening will be clamoring to hire him.

NCAA is going to slap USC on the wrist. It's taken three years to investigate the Reggie Bush stuff. Same reason a deserving Alabama will never get the death penalty...too much money being made.

Yeah, all his stupidity just got him the worst job in America. Oh wait.

Kiff is a Cali boy and that's his home. If USC goes under probation, then he gets some extra time to produce wins even if he screws shite up at the program. That and it's his dream job.
