Actually, their departure from Tennessee is bad news. Their arrogance and proclivity for signing thugs would have brought Tennessee down in the long run which of course is good for the Tigers. I just hope USC goes on probation; they certainly deserve it.

I didn't want to see them bring Tennessee down. I don't know that Tenn knew what they were really getting into with this guy. Anyway, I want the SEC's high profile teams stay strong, and not drop off. This is what makes our conference the best.

Let him aid USC in their own demise. That I would be okay with.

I kinda liked Lane there to keep Saban in check.

Now that SOB has only Mark R. to deal with and with Urban on the fence....well, you get the picture

I don't think Saban was ever really concerned with Lane Kiffin. Tenn will replace him with a great coach anyway. Lots of people are chomping at the bit for such a prime gig.

What makes you think that was ever going to happen?

Lane Kiffin's got one thing going for him: Monte Kiffin. As soon as the old man retires or dies, nobody's going to be interested in little Lane any more.
