Wow, every I-A team in the country looked over this kid but lots of people on a message board thinks he's SEC quality.
Shows me every day that everybody here is so football savvy.
Hmmm, I guess there's just not a good reason that he didn't get any BCS offers.
Oh yeah. Have fun finishing 4th and 5th place a year in the SLC.

Good decision. He can flourish in both sports there and will help build that program. They're loaded for next year and beyond.

La Tech offered, but I don't think it was as a QB. SLU's offense fits his style.

Come on now no need to dis SLU I graduated from there. It's not like they stole him from LSU. I am happy for SLU and their head coach, he is a hell of a good guy.

I agree, Prom. Not saying the kid isn't good, but let's get real people. I've been hearing so much about how LSU is so dumb for not offering and he's going to SLU? I understand there are a lot of Lutcher fans on here, but jeez.

Hope he plays qb. Beatty didn't impress me. I know he was at Baylor, but too many turnovers. Looking forward to next season already.

Yeah Beatty looked lousy, and it would be great to have a QB playing who can make some plays running when the pass isn't there. Watching Babin freeze like a deer in headlights got old, even though he was a pretty good passer.
