Usc got blown out a couple times this year. Lsu not so much. In fact we should have only lost 2 games this year.
So why all the hate for miles and not pete?

Pete isn't the coach for LSU.
USC fans have been giving it to Petey. Plus, Pete didn't lose 5 games last year

Haven't you heard? Petey is the CEO of a DYNASTY that is unquestioned. There can never be hate for him!
No way they ever get blown out or lose 4 games! Oh, wait, unless they had to start an inexperienced QB in that ultra-tough Pac10 merry-go-round schedule they play.
Only way the media bashes the USuCk coach is if he manages to have a losing season, which seems impossible in that conference.

i have hated USC every since we got hosed on the face mask call back in 1979.....LSU should have won that game 12-10 instead of losing 17-12. They were no. 1 and the refs werent letting us upset them.... We Were Screwed!

Pete will catch crap if his team shows decline a couple of years in a row. That's the way football works. BUT, 7 STRAIGHT SEASONS with 11 wins or better will give you a small pass for one rough year. Comparing his situation to Miles' current situation is just flat out dumb. Put it this way. For 7 straight seasons, Carroll's record was never worse than Miles' best season thus far. You figure out why one guy gets more crap than the other.

So because you're not a fan of USC you can't give a somewhat objective opinion comparing the two teams. This mentality is what is wrong with the idiots on this board.

A lopt of people forget that usc lost a couple of really good coaches and good coaches is what wins games...we could sure attest to that

aces...... basically what i am saying is that i dont care if they lose every game, i am not a fan of USC.. i only care about success for LSU. To answer the question....LSU had a worse year... We lost 4 games, could have lost more(Miss St)... We did not win our bowl game(over a big 10 school who had not beat a top 20 team all year) and we will return next year with the same coaching staff... My opinnion LSU had the worst year! We have fallen off the pedestal. USC is farther removed from a championship than we are at this point.... They have been falling, we are now starting to fall.... How far is the question before a change is made to correct the problem?

Ted... that was a helluva game until the fourth quarter... real problem was settling for 4 field goals in the first half.... if just one of those were a TD....it may have been a different outcome...I do know that was the biggest rip-off i have seen in my life..

I hate USC. I'm overjoyed that USC sucked this year and that Carroll is taking the cowards way out. Why would I question it?
I love LSU. I hate that Miles coaching is leading us towards mediocrity. Good thing to question repeatedly and loudly.
