the offensive line was the weakest part of the team in 2009.
if the offensive line is not so inept, the defensive numbers are better, the qb is better and the running backs are better. time management isn't even a issue, when you can run the ball and have a 10 point lead. lsu wins a few more games. hitt and black regressed during their senior season & that is inexcusable. barksdale may have as well. a new center and guard are a little light, but lsu hardly substitutes. shouldn't light linemen be better a pass blocking. does stud even teach technique. they should have left daworzack as a blocking tight end.

miles said this may be the best offensive line he
ever coached. how can a head coach with an offensive line
background be so delusional. can you imagine saban
making the same blunder with the defensive backfield.
NO! poor offensive line play painted crowton into a corner
with a young qb. he did try to get a litlle too cute especially
with time winding down.

football always boils down to
the weakest part of the team. our players deserve an offensive
line coach of nfl caliber and experience. i consider myself a
miles supporter, but i had to vent.

I got a headache looking at that.

I'm sure everything in that post has been covered ad nauseum.

He coached an offensive line that won a national championship two years ago and wasn't bad last year.

You need to get your facts straight.

black regressed during their senior season

Ciron Black earned the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy following the 2009 season as the league’s top offensive lineman as voted on by the SEC Coaches and was also was a first-team All-SEC pick. His Jr year he was second team All-SEC.

OL play was bad this year but why people have to resort to making things up to make it sound even worse is stupid.

Stud has only been here three years and during his first two years everyone on hear claimed he was great and an upgrade from Searls. If the OL doesn't improve next year let him go, but it would look terrible to potential replacements to fire for one bad season after stringing together two good ones.
