Even though I believe violations are common just about everywhere, I believe we will be seing a side of USC they don't want us to see.

I have yet to see a link that sactions are looming. Yahoo reports yearly and each time, they report the NCAA is ever so close to finishing.

Can you show me a link that a meteor will not fall on my house today? I'll wait for you to find it.

That does not say that a meteor will strike my house today. It might imply a possibility.

As you know there is no link that USC will or will not go on probation. SO far I have been correct in my predictions. The wishful thinkers can continue to predict sanctions will occur "in the future", which unless the future is defined by an end-point will technically be correct. AT this poiint, and I could be wrong, USC will not have sanctions handed down within the next six months. I will reassess at the next yearly yahoo.com update.

Come on tangerine, nobody has a link. It's not a big leap though seeing the people that are getting out. It's just speculation.

I hate that Carroll and McFumble are leaving. I've got nobody to hate over there now. Some goes for Weiss at ND.

It's the link that says JM is going pro. If you remember
JM said he was worried that USC would be put on probation
during his college years. Pete then called Bush and while
on a three way call Bush claimed that his law team will
keep this out of the public and sealed. This way USC will
not be molested by the NCAA. Now after this conversation
was told first hand by JM the USC compliance team changed
his first hand account to JM must have missremember his
account because J'sM account would ba a viloation. So the
fact that JM is leaving tells it all. You see Bush and Pete
lied about the comming probation and now JM is leaving before
he can get that degree he so had a want to get. Now read into
the Bush conversation that Pete was also getting confirmation
from Bush and now Pete is leaving. Rats jumping ship before the
ship sinks. Everybody can see it except the blind rats and they
Will go down with the ship. Are yoy one of the blind rats?

NFL Today just said that if PC leaves it would prevent sanctions from being levied against USC. I only caught a bit of this may not be completely accurate.

On that show Charlie Casserly (sic) said that USC asked the NCAA if they could self impose sanctions on football team and the NCAA said NO

That is ridiculous. They have no idea what they are talking about. Schools get in trouble all the time after the HC leaves.

Thanks, that's the link. Now three years later both JM and PC are leaving ahead of the NCAA penalties.

I think people are over-reacting to this. McKnight is leaving because he's not going to improve his status and potentially affected his eligibility with the vehicle incident.

Carroll leaving, supposedly, has more to do with issues between him and the AD that is on the hot seat at USC. They apparently never got along, and Carroll got an offer that is tough to refuse in the NFL. More money, his contract at USC is actually up after the 2010 season, and a chance to rewrite his NFL HCing legacy.

That's what I was pointing to, Pete has run a college football team like SMU. They should get the death penalty because they tried to hide all of this by having sealed court doc. This was a direct slap in the face of the NCAA investigation discovery team. Now that Bush's trial will be held in public both JM and PC are leaving. Is it no wonder the AD and PC have issues between them. PC gets to leave the mess he created while the AD has to stay and fix it. So the moral is Cheaters get ahead unless the NCAA and the NFL both come down on PC and USC.
