Too cold to grill...

...so I broiled a Porterhouse. It is like eating sex. Delicious sex. I just hit it for 4:30 on each side.

Any broiling tips out there?

Just do it more. The broiler is the most under utilized cooking method.

I am from the north, and I deem it too cold to grill. My grill has a sheen of ice on it and my fountain is frozen. My guest house pipes are frozen and my dog won't go out to shite. I used my grill pan and made burgers on the cooktop. They were ok.

Tomorrow I am smoking a shoulder. The cold weather keeps my Brinkmann modified water smoker at te perfect temp.

or too wet and windy. I had a pork butt on the grill during Gustav, The wind blew the top off several times. Good thing too, since the electricity went out.
