it's say the reports are coming out of bayou conuntry. my question is why haven't any of our guys heard about this? seems like this clown just read our coaching changes board one day and wrote an article.

if Kragthorpe installs the same offensive game strategy for the Tigers that he used at Louisville his final season, that 112th out of 120th ranking in offensive production last year is in jeopardy of dropping even further.

See I just don't know about hiring Kragthorpe if in fact Crowton is gone.

One thing that comes to mind…if Kragthorpe installs the same offensive game strategy for the Tigers that he used at Louisville his final season, that 112th out of 120th ranking in offensive production last year is in jeopardy of dropping even further. He may have more talent and weapons at LSU than he did at Louisville. If Kragthorpe ends up with the job, one would hope that he listens to the offensive coaches around him instead of taking the “it’s all on me” approach.

We have Crowton, the Wizard of Won't. Why do we need anyone else?

I know I keep linking my own thread from a few weeks ago, but it seems to continue to be worth noting when I see things like this come up. It's a compilation of UL blogs and article comments about Kragthorpe, and it sounds exactly like us about Crowton:

Trading in Crowton for Kragthorpe is like trading in a Yugo for a Pinto IMO.

I know what you mean. It's 100% pure D insanity to think that 1 year of experience is all that the offense needs to do a 180, without a change at coordinator -

AT THE VERY LEAST.

One of the comments on the article:

Hope this comes to pass. Do you realize how much money we can make taking the under bet on LSU until the rest of the nation catches on?

What AD in a BCS conference has watched this guy's play calling and said, "Oh yeah, we need him as our OC."???

Jan 4, 2007 ... Saban: "I guess I have to say it. I'm not going to be the Alabama coach. .... "

Dec 1, 2007 ... “barring something extraordinary,” Les Miles is going to Michigan. ... Herby

Jan 8,2010 ... Crowton“(LSU coach Les Miles) and I have spoken several times this week about recruiting and spring practice plans, so, yes, I have every intention of being at LSU next season,” said the 52-year-old Crowton.

Hard to believe a word you hear or read...
