I just saw the preview for the first time. Does "The Rock" have an agent or does he just accept any job offer given?

I'd edit that before he kicks in your door, destroys you with a peoples elbow, and walks out the door without saying a word

I've finally discovered a proven moneymaker.

I'm going to write a script for a children's movie. No effort required...

It's money money dolla dolla. I'd act in a shitty movie and risk my dignity for a couple million.

He'll be signed to another Disney Picture deal probably when Race to Witch Mountain 2 comes around.

Its either Tooth Fairy or Doom 2, or Scorpion King 3.

Not like they are going to be offering him lead in the next Spielberg movie.

I think "castrated" is the best word for what's happened to the rock

Actually, there was an article on him a while back that talked about this subject.

He was quoted as saying that since he had kids now, he wanted to make some family friendly movies that they could watch.

You can't knock him for sticking to his principles and making bank.

It's a pretty smart move IMO. He can't make many more like DOOM or never be put in a movie again. He can do those Disney movies all day and make money for himself and in the box office. Besides, after covering himself in all those native tattoos he kind of limited himself to roles where he is completely clothed or risk having to explain his look in every movie.

I would agree with this if the movies weren't terrible.

Didn't he just have a kid or something? I believe that was why Vin Diesel did The Pacifier, so they could have some of their work to show to their own children.

People like the Rock are convenient to have around in the acting world.

If I see him credited in a film, I know that I never want to see it. Pretty cut and dry. Vin Diesel's roles can also be applied here.

Pitch Black wasn't that bad.

Pitch Black wasn't bad as a standalone movie.

When they tried to build a franchise out of Riddick's exploits, they kind of fricked everything up though.
