Serioulsy,
If some of you idiots had your way, where the F would be?
Had two tough seasons, in the toughest conference and you want the guy fired?
Even though our recruiting is still top notch, problems are being fixed (new hires) this yr and last and we had two first yr qbs leading the way.

There's not a coach in his right mind that would want this job if some of tards had your way.
Maybe some of yall should quit your 10 buck an hr job, go over and apply yourselves, b/c many of you certianly seem to have things figured out.

Just someone in his "right mind" would be a great step.

Do you hear about Saban's need for "new hires"? No, cause it isn't all riding on assistant coaches when there's a coach who knows wtf is going on.

2008, Miles supposedly identified the problem. He brought in Chavis. This year the offense was terrible. Now he's bringing in new coaches to help the offense. When is everyone going to realize it starts with the top. LSU's record was not terrible, but the way they played football as a team was terrible! Miles couldn't get over the hump at OSU. His biggest accomplishment was beating Bob Stoops and OU. I think he's reached his peak at LSU!

bullshite. Coaches are comptetive and don't care about what the fans think. LSU isn't the only fan base who questions the coaching staff.

You pay someone enough money, they will come. Do you think firing Ron Zook kept Urban Meyer from UF? Or Jim Tressell from OSU after Cooper was shown the door, while having a winning record?

Miles is not a good coach, he's proven this the last 2 years, if being an idiot means willing to settle for mediocrity, them call me stupid.

Let’s see, who would want to be the head coach for a school located in the state with the most players in the NFL per capita? I guess he'd be an idiot to.

Sure but it's insignificant, he wins with all of them. It's not as critical as with Meathead cause Saban knows the game and is INVOLVED during the game- not watching the big screen and sticking his tongue out in bewilderment.

there would be plenty of coaches that would want the job. getting someone better than miles would not be easy i don't care what some say. there are coaches that are probably better but availability is another story. finding the right head coach seems to be a crapshoot. maybe odds that are 50% or less. just look at how many coaches LSU tryed before we found arnsbarger, how many bama tryed before they found saban, notre dame is still looking, etc. the fact is, there are no perfect coaches out there and there are damn few top notch ones and if those are happy, they will stay put. take mack brown (same kind of coach as miles BTW), nick saban, urban meyer, and bob stoops what HEAD COACH WITH MULTIPLE GREAT YEARS are out there. sure, there are a number of guys with one great year; i call coach dejours. hiring someone with one great year is definately a crap shoot.

I don't see any big name coming to LSU. We want a coach fired who has won a BCS Championship and an additional
BCS bowl. If we fire Miles I could see LSU stuck hiring some smaller school who is looking for his big program chance or a coordinator who has not been head coach before. We have become spoiled and not giving a coach a long run is the quickest way to drop to the bottom and never stay at top long. Look at the Notre Dame and Nebraska program. Once great now they shuffle coaches so often that the programs have never really been a threat in the nation. Bo seems to have Nebraska heading in the right direction but let's see what they do if they do not get a big 12 titles in the next couple of years.

Replacing a coach is easy, finding the right guy is another story. When finding the right guy gets easier than taking mediocrity, LSU will make the move.

Finding a GREAT coach is tough, no matter who you fire. I hope Les can turn it around but doubt he has the ability.

Who wouldn't want to make millions of dollars in one year? A whole state pretty much to yourself to recruit in that is rich in talent. Top notch facilities and passionate fans.

I'll bet Skip Holtz would take the job. His team looked very well coached in comparison to LSU.
