This was probably the best one since book 6.

Jordan was a good world creator, but not the best writer on earth. Sanderson is a massive improvement, prose wise, IMO.

overall, i enjoy Jordan's writing. but, his need to describe everything in such excruciating detail was the real problem for me. series could have been done in 6 books easy if he didn't feel the need to spend 20 pages describing the sunset or telling us how Rand felt about his breakfast. Sanderson seems to get to the point faster and there appears to be more dialog, which reads much faster.
