Born and Jen... Thanks for being classy

In lieu of Lache's upcoming announcement, I wanted to beat everyone else to the punch. From your recent statements and totally IMO from reading between the lines, I believe that you at least have an idea of where Lache is going and it is not to LSU.

That being said, I want to say that the way you have represented LSU has been classy and respectful. If he is a good friend of yours, then there is no doubt to me that there were no charades in his recruitment. He seems like a genuinely good kid who has respectfully enjoyed the recruiting process while taking an open approach to the schools he was interested in.

It is my best guess that he is a smart kid who wanted to explore and exhaust all his options because he does not want to gamble with his future. I also guess that he has been grateful for his opportunities, so when interviewed by the rumor hungry media, his kind and positive words were contorted to make his decision making seem dramatic.

I for one just wanted to say before the rantards come and curse him, that I respect the way you have stayed as unbiased as possible while guiding helping Lache through this big decision, and that I support him where ever he goes, and wish nothing but success for him and goodwill for you.

This is all just instinct, as I mostly just read these boards and hardly post. Please do not get discouraged with the way LSU fans react if/when Lache does not choose LSU. People around here take things too personally and do not realize what a big decision it is for these young men, so they act like scorned women, but there are a few true fans who understand it isnt just about football, but about life.

Thanks for being a representation of that kind of tiger fan. Heres to you and Lache, and other posters like bhelm, gulfcoastbaised, lsufanva, OldIowaTiger, Lynx, Apex and a few others who represent these boards day in and day out as true tiger fans, and not like some who come off as fickle mindless teenagers
