Now that Urban has retired and Saban looking like he could go at any minute, does LSU have the last laugh with a coach who may be able to outlast Paterno?

FWIW, I'm sure there are plenty of LSU fans wishing that CLM would have a mental breakdown and retire himself....

...a lot of the fanbase's worst nightmare

Life is too short to stress over the little things like calling timeouts when the game is on the line.

Do you mean he could die any minute or he could leave Alabama any minute

I think he means that he can hear Jerry Jones firing up the Brinks truck as we type...

No. I meant that Saban is a walking coronary.

If you're insinuating that Miles could be here for a long long time I don't think you are going to make many people "chill the frick out"

Fixed it for you. Just kidding. Like your original post. Some humor to go along with the thread.

Since it is about 90% sure Meyer will return to coaching, it will do nothing but fuel the fire.

Meyer to LSU threads will abound in the next couple of years

Who told you this statistic, or did you simply just make it up to help fuel the ranter fire? How could you even apply statistics to this situation. Since he said he isn't interested in a sebatacle for the Florida job I would guess you pretty much pulled this statistic out of your arse.

I wouldn't be surprised if UM came back befoe the start of next season imho. They already said his heart isnt life threating. Honestly i think we have alot more to wrry about with saban, yea say what u want about him but the man can recruit and he is not that bad of a coach.

I agree, Saban is one hell of a coach.. and it might have been better news for us to find out that he was leaving the SEC. Maybe Meyer will be back, but you have to agree saying that there is a 90% chance of him coming back based on the news supplied to us from the past half of a day is simply ludacris.

So in order for LSU to beat the top teams in the SEC again, we have to hope that coaches retire, die or move on?

Backing in again, I see ...

Saban is not leaving the SEC anytime soon. He'll be at coaching for another 10 years. I don't think he leaves Alabama for Penn State.

He may return but it won't be to Fla. If he stays in the SEC I can see him possibly going to Tenn. Just a thought though.

2 double digit win seasons at LSU. Nobody will ever accomplish that again.
