Have not been in dome since 2003. Are all cameras still banned, besides cell phones? If I have a small digital camera that can fit in my back pocket could I bring it in or will I get kicked out? Have seen all kinds of pics from people that brought cameras in some how. Anyway if someone could give me the do's and dont's related to this please let me know. Thanks.

Chalmette, so you can just bring them through security with no problems or you have to hide them in your pocket? I read that all cameras were banned.

If you're a dude just put it in your pocket. Dome security only checks guys above the waste.

+1

even though you should have neaux trouble with bringing a camera in. heck, when I went through security I pulled my camera, wallet and cell phone out and held them up over my head while he searched me. IIRC the rule is no cameras with a zoom greater than 5x - but they won't even check a normal looking digital camera.

This is from the Superdome website

Camera Policy:
No video or professional lens cameras are allowed (max. lens allowed is 6”).

Is this correct? My wife and a friend are on their way to NO for the game with cameras.

Yes, I brought a canon digital rebel w 55-250mm lens to Giants game. They pulled it and measured the lens and passed me through no problems.
