I don't think you go to a Redskins home game sporting head-to-toe Saints gear in freezing weather AFTER spending 2 hours in the hospital for a recently broken finger.... if you aren't a true fan.

Well I'll admit I was one that was excited to find him. I believe I felt sorry for him after seeing him on TV and even defended him when some started calling him homeless. BUT when he showed up at the airport acting like a swole headed idiot, screaming like a mad man I kinda soured on him. I think he let all this go to his head and maybe is playing up the part now. I agree with some other posters that his time in fame is up.

Where do we send the money to send him to the Super Bowl if the SAINTS make it. Is there a link????

The story is that when he went to the emergency room in D.C. he had the nurses saying Who Dat!!

Gotta luv a fan that lives it.
May he follow the Saints all the way to the Superbowl; that is, if the Saints can find someone to block the left side defensive end.

If you listen to the radio interview from the day after he was "found" (probably less than 12 hours later, actually) - it sounded pretty genuine.

I'm not going to keep knighting the guy... but he was "from Louisiana" until he was drafted at the age of 21. Maybe not BORN in Louisiana, but a lot of us who consider ourselves FROM Louisiana weren't either.

I live in Dallas now, and feel quiet sure it's a helluva lot harder to be a Saints fan on another team's turf.

He was in the stands for the the first Saints game ever - saw Joe Gilliam's KO return for a TD unfold in front of him... It's not like he has/feels no "connection" with the team.



Message boards are a shining beacon for the angry and depressed - a poster child for "misery loves company" - for disgruntled individuals seeking an outlet to vent their anonymous vehemence. A magnet for those trying to find new verbal sparring partners to jab with their ideals/points of view until validation is achieved.

The Unknown WhoDat has certainly brought out the vocal, selfish and pessimistic in droves. I can't help but think that if you can't be happy for (or at least indifferent to) this guy's windfall... you are, on some level, a miserable person.

So when the season ends, the Unknown WhoDat returns to obscurity... and your unhappiness continues - What will you do?

Here's a suggestion: Try purchasing a single lottery ticket every week. When the numbers are announced - Commence with the pissy ranting directed towards the "undeserving" winner(s).
