After hearing for six weeks that they're overrated and didn't play anybody, the Nittany Lions will come out amped-up for this one. Senior Daryll Clark gives them a big edge at quarterback.

I think LSU needs more of this motivation.

I really don't understand why LSU fans are so upset that people are picking PSU. They are a good team, and I know Miles' bowl record is pretty nice here, but let's be realistic about the teams we played.

They were big names, but outside of tOSU in 2007, Miami didn't care and Notre Dame sucked. GaTech got exposed for being one dimensional.

Les is a good coach, especially when given time to prepare, but this team is not like those others, particularly on the lines. That is why LSU won its games in the past. Domination at the lines, particularly on the DL.

Who said anything about being upset? I want the media to pick against us so there's more motivation.

LSU OL vs. PSU DL should be a push.

No way Penn state beats LSU. Too much speed. Those short passes will turn into BIG gains with the speed at WR.

Mandel generally picks against LSU in bowl games. No surprise there. He picked tOSU to beat LSU in 2007.

We are not smarter than Vegas. They've picked against us so that does not bode well.

Bowl game LSU tends to be a different team. I had zero hope we would beat GT last year. I was expecting a 20 point beatdown.

We haven't pushed anyone, in any game, the whole year.

worst and most overused cliche used amongst the SEC masses when discussing a contest with a big 10 opponent. Its like the default answer to any question is "speed"...So how does LSU's linebackers matchup with PSU's TE's? "Sppeeed." Are you concernced with Penn States front 4? "Sppeeeeeed". How do you think Joe Pa stays so active in the game after all these years? "Sppeeeed."

Lets look a little closer at some of the other games Vegas called against LSU
Georgia win
Florida, I'll give you
Alabama, Worst called game in the last decade,if you thought that we were going to win after in the first quarter the replay booth has mysterious malfunctions and it just happens in passive conversation that the head replay official just happened to be a gump I've got the naming rights to olympus mons for sale.

the money lines are all 120 -140 and between 2.5-3 = they just don't know. They should by now but no one knows just what LSU team will show up. The team that played Auburn shows up we win. Team that plays Florida shows up we lose.

Mandel is smoking rope. Penn St. will never score 27pts against LSU.

If we come out "amped up" but don't allow emotions (stupidity) to dominate, I don't think LSU is going to crush us. I still favor LSU for a win (slightly) but I don't think it's going to be a run away blowout.

I gave thoughts on this already, but there's the cliffs notes that were so desperately asked for.

If LSU doesn't change some OL personnel for the bowl game, we will not beat Penn St. Hoping that Gonzales can convince Miles changes are needed on the OL. Since he was at Florida, I'm sure he knows what the Florida defensive game plan was against our offense. Maybe he can tell Miles who they saw was overmatched of the OL starters.

If LSU loses, please be sure you say the only reason we lost is because we didn't care. I'm not knocking all that you are saying but I hate this statement. You can't convince me that any team goes into any game and doesn't care. I just simply don't buy that.
