2009 Charles McClendon LSU Team MVP
--Harry Coleman



There were 2 other awards that I couldn't remember who won.
George M. Wallace Memorial Award & The TAF Butch Duhe Award Nevis & Sheppard were the recipients of one of these (think it was the Wallace) but not sure which.
If anybody was there and knows, let me know

Miles also introduced the 2 new coaches : Wilson & Gonzales

At first I thought the same thing. But who else would you give it to? Peterson MAybe. Coleman being a senior might have had something tho do with that

He is my boy an all but only if they could have taught him not to patty cake with the offensive lineman. Then he would have been in business.

Cannot believe Charles Scott didn't get an award for something - the guy got very little consistent blocking, fought for tough yards throughout the season, was crippled by an offensive scheme that did not favor success for running backs, and offered to play fullback to help the team. He's my MVP by a mile!

miles said a few words about him. about how they missed him when he got hurt and they miss him now. The fricked up thing is that Keiland was sittin right next to scott with his crutches by his side!!! They didn't miss Keiland?

I dont think i would call Terrance Toliver an unsung hero. He gets a lot of attention.

Sounds like they just give it to all the senior starters. It's a damn shame Charles Scott was left out.
