I've read all these posts and lets face it. Tommy Henry and the LHSAA created this problem and did nothing to stop it, now we have what we have, these schools rape areas of their best players. Don't forget the parents have to approve of them going and they live in the community, I wonder what people in the community think? I'm sure the parents are thinking my son will be an NFL player one day and should go to this football factory to get the best.
As far as those factories winning state championships the dome looked pretty empty for the game last night between evangel and JC. Obviously no one cared, I for one didn't care about either team or their records, there tainted as far as I'm concerned, no respect for them!
Give me public school school games anyday, town vs town, good hometown spirit, places that are rich in history, kids that have been together their whole lives and are playing for their communities and the community knows them and loves them and follows them in droves when they are out of town. Thats high school sports!!! frankly speaking, i don't care if my high school wins a state championship or not, I will be out there every week cheering them on and so will our community, I'll say one last thing, our small rural school has had more NFL players than JC and evangel over the years. Have a great day!!!
