I do not think that he will have the say in the play to be called, I believe that he is to assist in the looking into what call should be made. But, Crowton will make the call it is just another set of eyes on the field to make sure that the correct call is being made at any given time. To me, I think any time that you have two sets of eyes looking into the defenses on the field another set of eyes will be a more than welcome addition.

To other statement that it might be just a matter of time and he might be the next OC that might justify him leaving UM to come to LSU. You also know that with the added responsibility of helping on the play calling will also come more money for him. To me, I am glad we have no matter the reason. With Gonzales's recruiting prowess in Florida and Wilson's here in Louisiana we should be a whole lot better off than before they came. I'll take these changes any day over what we had before.

I do not in any way associate this with
co-coordinators of the defense last year. Two sets of eyes looking is better than one any day. JMHO!

Yeah, this sound like a GREAT idea. Is it so hard to see the huge pitfalls in this plan (if it is the plan? And which one of them is responsible for calling time outs? Or will they each blame the other when 19 seconds runs off the clock?
