I think it's basically a 4-2-5 which we did very well with. It doesn't look like a 4-2-5 because the ss/lbs were never centered, but looking at the blitz packages thats what I think it is.

I think with a more dominant defensive line (hopefully in the future) it will be even more effective if our ends and dt's require double team blocking.

Its also good because if the O coordinator is smarter than you, you still stand a good chance of stopping him because you don't have to guess what he's doing as accurately. If he doesn't pick plays in anticipation of your blitz / zone packages he's gonna have problems, unless ofcourse, his qb is a stud, or if he has a RB that can stick it in your gut.
