Does this open up our channels back into Florida?
ETA: Sorry, I posted this in the small gap where it was being confirmed he was OC, not the WR coach.
Though, I doubt he would take the lateral move from UF to LSU as WR coach.

I'm not reading that long 15 page thread on coaching changes board...what's the story here? Is he WR coach, QB coach, or OC? If WR coach, what happens with Tyke Tolbert?

Gonzales' wife says he is coming to be "passing game coordinator" aka wr coach. but im waiting for belowpar to appear and set everything straight before i believe what is being thrown out there right now.
some are saying tolbert backed out at the last minute, some say he is still coming, no one knows. gonzales is a great backup plan if you ask me.

other than money...what would be the reason to leave as FL's WR coach to be ours?

Some UF fans on the sec rant said he was upset that he didn't get the OC position at UF when Mullen went to miss. st. If that's true I can understand him jumping ship bc he's been with meyer since bowling green.

Any chance he brings a guy like Chris Dunkley here? Dunkley is a beast and Matt Elam has been looking around as well. Think he brings anybody here?

Apparently Elam is tightly connected to Meyer, not Gonzales.
I think Dunkley becomes a real possibility. Gonzales is why he liked UF and my UF buddy basically said to me... "Well, no Dunkley for us..." so we'll see.

Thanks OBUDan, everything I've read about Dunkley makes me wonder why he isn't a 5 star. He would make everyone forget about Reed IMO.

He's not as good as Debose. But is similar in skill set/size etc.
