I was grim. Held out hope but definitely had great doubts.

I didn't either. It seems these Saints, along with being very good, have the luck of the 1970's Cowboys and the 1980's 49ers.

You may have kept the faith, but I'm thinking some of the ones that will pile on the "I was never worried" wagon are lying. I was worried and didn't want to see the Redskins celebrate a win.
