....Although Iowa would be easier to beat and there is the revenge factor from 2005, I and most LSU fans I have talked to would prefer Penn State.
It's not often LSU gets to play them, they are a more prestigious program and I don't know if we will ever get another chance to play Joe Pa again.

PSU would garner more excitement. Iowa would be a probable win.

How'd you come to the conclusion Iowa would be easier to beat than PSU?

Iowa, hands down.
This is to shut up my 5 brothers in law.

...Sorry Buckeye but, I have seen Iowa play 5 times this year.
Iowa was clearly better than Penn State when they initially played. But, injuries seemed to take it's toll on the Hawkeyes.
They seemed to play worse and worse as the season progressed. Then they lost their starting QB and it really seemed to go south.

Now there young one. I was there for the 1974 Orange Bowl I want revenge. John Cappelletti was the Heisman winner and was shut down for most of the game. He scored only one touchdown in a 16-9 win. Bring on Pappa Joe.

Besides that fact, OSU went into Happy Valley and kicked the crap out of PSU. At home against Iowa, we had to go to OT. Iowa also beat Wisconsin, PSU didn't play them.
PSU played two good teams, and lost to both at home. Iowa played four (Zona, at Penn State, at Wisconsin, and at Ohio State) and won three, with the other an OT loss.

I would be happy either way.
Would be nice to smash Iowa for a little payback.
But I would prefer to play Penn St.
Les Miles will beat the shite out of yet another Big Ten team this year and will be proclaimed the best ever, yet again, and people will forget the Ole Miss game.

I think IOWA is definitely the stronger team...look at the OSU comparison scores.

No, not at all. Iowa was pretty much like LSU this year. Their record could easily be much worse. PSU, despite the head/head and comparative scores is better than Iowa.

Penn? The Ivy League School (The University of Pennsylvania Quakers???) Haaa!!!

Yeah, let's ignore the fact Iowa beat PSU in their house by double digits and did much better in their tough games than PSU did in thiers.
