A couple of points about the Redskins. They have the #1 ranked pass defense, but the 25th ranked run defense. To me, this says that teams run the ball on the Redskins, rather than pass. I think the Redskins probably have a decent D, but I doubt their pass D is as good as it seems, on paper. If teams are running the ball, down their throats, and not passing, it would give an unrealistic picture, on the stats, that they have this great pass D.
I've looked at the Redskins, and QBs are averaging 16 of 27, for 182 yards, 1 touchdown, and .5 an interception. Obviously, you can't have .5 an interception, so we can round that up to 1, but the Redskins have 6 interceptions against opposing starting QBs, in 11 games, thus far. Whereas, they are giving up well over 100 yards rushing per game, and over 5 yards per carry.
I expect the Saints to come out running the ball quite a bit, while using that to open up the play action, giving Brees some nice shots, down the field.
I certainly don't think the Saints are guaranteed to win, but I expect a decent game. I see Brees throwing a couple of TDs, coupled with a couple of rushing TDs for the backs, and maybe a field goal, or two.
My prediction, Saints - 34, Redskins - 13
